Roxborough Primary School (K-2) is a wonderful school. I have had three kids go through and have been all-around pleased. They met my kids where they were at, whether it was advanced or delayed, and we have not had a single bad teacher. Administration and staff know me and my kids by name and are always friendly. Necessary procedures and protocols are in place, practiced and communicated to parents. The PTIC works very hard to create fun community events as well as assemblies and fundraisers, which have brought in record-breaking amounts. Ideally tax dollars would pay for necessary school materials, but bond issues have not been passed and realistically we NEED this award-winning organization. Love Roxborough!

Wow! GREAT School! Great Teachers, Great Principal, Great Families and a Super Community! We love Roxborough Elementary! A lot of community involvement and yes, there are a lot of budget cuts to the schools these days, and THIS SCHOOL makes up for that with the community involvement.

Overall I have had a great experience with this school. The mom's seem a little clicky and not very welcoming. Also, they have a great PTIC but I wish they would focus a little more on education instead of raising money for events and things for the classroom. Every month they seem to have a different fundraiser and it gets frustrating always sending in money when our tax money should be taking care of that.

Roxborough's elementary schools enjoy a highly involved community with a very strong sense of collective responsibility for educating our neighborhood children.

The teachers and the community make this school the best across the nation. The parents are involved and they work with the teachers who put lots of hours and hard work into the school and the schools mission.

Rox borough offers school on a whole new level. It has a beautiful second school that is Eco-Freindly.

Roxborough Elementary is a typical public elementary school. It does offer a beautiful location, excellent office staff, and several caring teachers. The problem is that the school has far too many students and far too few good teachers. They really need to 'retrain' many of their teachers in the new corse curriculums and work on the school to home communication.

This is a wonderful environment for learning. The teachers on C track really care for children.

The curriculm is weak. The children fall behind when moving on to other schools. The office staff is great but there are a few teachers who need classes in caring. The school has a less than pleasing feel to it.

I researched several schools before choosing Roxborough Elementary. I have been very satisfied with the education my son has received. As a weekly volunteer in the classroom for 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade, I have seen firsthand each teacher's ability, style and love for the kids. As a volunteer they have discussed ideas with me on motivating kids in areas that they are behind on instead of just accepting the level that they are at. They have been genuinely excited to see these kids improve. They have programs to help those students who are ahead of the class in certain areas and programs to help those that are behind in a certain area. The teachers I have worked with have been teaching for a long time and are good at what they do!
